Chocolate Moist Cake


  • 1 1/3 cup Hijo Superfoods Banana Flour
  • 1 1/4 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/8 cups refined white sugar
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup hot water



1. In a mixing bowl, sift and mix banana flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt

2. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar, eggs, evaporated milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla

3. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, then add the hot water and mix until combined.

4. Strain the mixture for a smoother batter.

5. Pour batter into an 8-inch pan. Adjust the amount of batter poured into your desired pan size.

6. Bake for 60 minutes
