Only high quality upcycled green Cavendish bananas are used in the production of our banana flour.
It can be used on a wide variety of applications–from mouthwatering desserts to sumptuous savory dishes, flavorful sauces and even on your refreshing smoothies!
It is a 1:1 nutritious substitute to most flours. It is low in GI, high is resistant starch and is gluten-free.
While our banana flour is high in nutrients and has other health benefits, it is not recommended to be used as a food supplement substitute. It is best to consult your doctor for your daily dietary needs.
Resistant starch is a type of carbohydrate that is not digested in the small intestines and ferments in the large intestines. It acts as a prebiotic that feeds the good bacteria in the gut.
Our banana flour has little to no banana taste in countless cooking, baking and beverage applications.
Our banana flour is purely made from unripe green Cavendish bananas that are supposed to be thrown out due to the export standards set by the market. But they’re no different in quality and nutritional content, they just look slightly different. So, we turn them them into a product of higher value–banana flour.
